Terms of use

1. Purpose

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Hooklly and define the rights and obligations of the parties.

2. Acceptance

By using Hooklly, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.

3. Account

To use Hooklly you must:

  • Create an account
  • Provide accurate information
  • Keep your credentials confidential
  • Notify us of any unauthorized use

4. Service description

Hooklly is a SaaS product that may include:

  • Connecting multiple mailboxes
  • AI-assisted sorting and prioritization
  • Custom categorization
  • Drafting assistance
  • Task generation features

5. Access to email

By using Hooklly, you authorize the service to access your mailboxes to analyze and organize messages as described in the product and privacy policy.

Important: Access is limited to what is needed to provide the service. Detailed processing is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service unlawfully
  • Attempt to bypass security controls
  • Disrupt the service
  • Share your account with third parties
  • Scrape or automate extraction of data beyond permitted use
  • Send spam or abusive content through the service

7. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance or force majeure events may cause downtime. We will try to limit impact and notify you when reasonable.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hooklly is not liable for:

  • AI classification errors
  • Loss or corruption of data at your email provider
  • Indirect damages
  • Third-party actions (e.g. attacks)
  • Browser or system incompatibilities

9. Intellectual property

The service, including software, design, and branding, is owned by Hooklly and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

10. Personal data

Processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, breach of these Terms, fraud, or upon your request, as described in our policies.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-product notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of France after good-faith attempts to resolve the matter amicably.

15. Severability
